中国援建非洲最大疫苗厂交付

The world’s largest heavy-lift vessel, thePilecki, recently arrived in Morocco after leaving Shanghai on May 8th. It wascarrying equipment to produce vaccines. Zhang Yue tells us more.

5月8号,中国援非的疫苗生产设备从上海港罗泾码头始发，由世界载重吨位最大多用途重吊船"皮莱茨基"轮负责运输，近日顺利抵达摩洛哥。记者张乐带来更多详细报道。

After 35-days at sea, the vessel docked inCasablanca, Morocco on June 12th. The vaccine production equipment wasmanufactured by the Japan-based Morimatsu Group’s Shanghai factory. A total of118 large pieces of equipment where shipped to Casablanca. The equipment had atotal volume of 40,000 cubic meters, which equaled the size of Morimatsu’sfactory in Shanghai.

经过35天的海上航行，货船于当地时间6月12日顺利抵达目的港摩洛哥卡萨布兰卡港，并顺利交付。疫苗生产设备由日本森松集团的上海工厂制造，运往卡萨布兰卡。这批生产设备共118个大型模块，总体积近4万立方米，相当于一个完整的疫苗厂整体平移。

The project will enable the production ofmore than 20 vaccines, including three COVID-19 vaccines. This will meet about60 percent of vaccine demand for the continent of Africa. This is ourcontribution to help the world fight the pandemic. 工厂建成之后将是有满足非洲大概60%的一个疫苗的供应和需求，其中包括了二十几种疫苗，其中有三种是新冠疫苗，那么我们也是在抗击全球疫情的做了我们的贡献。

The Pilecki has a deadweight of nearly62,000 tons, with five giant storage areas and a helicopter pad. The equipmentwas taken off the Pilecki on June 18th and will be assembled at a factory ownedby Sothema.

It was even more difficult to transport theequipment to Morocco as Shanghai was locked down for two months. We are verythankful to the Luojing Wharf for giving us such huge support, and helping usdeliver the equipment in time.这次运送成套的疫苗设备到摩洛哥，它首先最重要的一个难度就在于疫情，在上海处于封控期间，非常感谢罗泾当地给船整体的运卸货给予的一个支持，让我们能够顺利的及时的把货运出去。

It will take about two months to assemble,commission and verify【核实】 theequipment. Upon completion, Morocco will become the first country in Africa toproduce COVID-19 vaccines.

该项目需要约两个月时间组装、调试、验证设备，竣工后摩洛哥将成为非洲第一个生新冠疫苗的国家。

2.SHANGHAI EXPO CULTURE PARK REOPENS

上海世博文化公园恢复开园

Shanghai Expo Culture Park in Pudongreopened today after being closed for around three months. On the southern bankof the Huangpu River, the park is being expanded to include an equestriancourse【马术课程】. Zhang Yue has the story.

根据疫情防控要求闭门谢客近3个月的上海世博文化公园20日恢复开放，部分区域正在进行扩容改造。记者张乐带来更多详细报道。

At 8:30 this morning, some residents werewaiting at the park’s entrance. The usual pandemic protocols are in place likescanning the venue code and showing a negative PCR test result. Some say theyare thrilled the park is open again after having been stuck at home for such along time.

8点半刚开园，就有游客抵达。按照防疫要求，持有核酸阴性证明，扫场所码后入园。很多游客表示，长时间居家隔离后，公园重新开放，很兴奋。

A park employee said its dog area is beingexpanded and that the park will operate at reduce capacity for the time being.

Visitors will be limited to 50% of ourcapacity, and measures will be implemented【实施】 once the number approaches the limit. Each employee will completePCR and antigen tests on time at the request of the Landscaping【园林】 and City Appearance Administration Bureau.我们是把游客的数量控制在最大承载量的50%。一旦接近这个数字的时候呢，我们会采取一些限流的措施。同时也根据我们市绿容局的要求，做好所有工作人员按时做抗原和核酸检测等相关的措施。

The park is on the former 2010 World Exposite. Its southern section is still being built and will comprise a grand operatheater, conservatory【温室】, and equestriancourse. Work is scheduled to be completed in 2024.

该公园位于2010年世博会的旧址上。南区内有大剧院、温室和马术场，仍在建设中，计划于2024年竣工。

3.RUSSIA SAYS DOZENS OF UKRAINIANOFFICERS KILLED IN MISSILE STRIKE

Russian Defense Ministry said a Ukrainiancommand post was hit by Russian missiles yesterday, killing more than 50generals and officers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Lei Shuran has more.

昨天（19日），俄罗斯国防部通报称，过去一天，俄军使用高精度巡航导弹打击了乌军一处指挥所，造成50名乌方军官死亡。记者雷舒然带来更多详细报道。

The attacked command post was inDnipropetrovsk region. A meeting of Ukrainian command staff was being heldthere at the time of the attacks. On the same day, Ukrainian PresidentVolodymyr Zelenskyy yesterday called the coming week "historic", withthe European Commission’s recommendation that Ukraine become a candidate【候选人】 for membership of the 27-nation bloc, a decision that remains to bediscussed by member nations.
