In this episode, I talk with my friend Andrea about the newly released movie, "Everything Everywhere All At Once." After watching it for the first time, I definitely felt confused considering the amount of tiny details that you needed to pay attention to. But, after watching a second time, we both agreed that the true lessons of the movie came out. From conversation about intergenerational trauma displayed through the dynamic between Evelyn and Joy, we can understand this in the context of our own lives.
Andrea also includes her favorite scene which involved the ending of the movie and how Evelyn decided that she wasn't going to make the same mistake her father made in letting Joy go like he did to her. Through the googly eyes made by Waymond, the everything bagel, Jubo Takati, and more, we discuss how much appreciation you can gain from the many metaphors of life this movie offers. If you haven't seen this movie, DON'T TUNE IN! Last thing we want to do is spoil it for you! If you find yourself watching the movie and being confused after, listen in to gain a better understanding of the certain hidden meanings and lessons we took away from this film and the psychology involved in it.
