EPISODE 17 - PEAK PERFORMANCE --> A love of AFL from childhood and dreams of a career in the sport halted by injury prompted Aussie High Performance Athletic Coach Brandon Cain to turn his focus to assisting other athletes to achieve their performance aspirations and injured athletes in their recovery program.
Through his gym business, BCSC, he deals with athletes from multiple sports and of many ages. With the support of his specialist medical referral team, he works closely and holistically with each sportsperson to assess their individual needs and provide a program specifically suited to them. What motivates the athlete, drives them and makes them tick? How important is mental health? Like all industries, different treatment therapies are evolving and Brandon discusses some techniques he is using.
Brandon is an example to all of us of how what appeared to be a closed door for him in the sport he loved, led to an open door to assist others in his position.
