Welcome to Episode 48, Its's the 4th of July and we've got some questions!
It seems the history doesn't quite add up....not taking away from anybody's celebration, or sense of freedom and pride. More so, having a son who is Native American, raises different conversations and questions about the United States, its history, and its celebrations.
If the people who initially inhabited this country, don't celebrate this holiday or see it as a day of freedom, who's freedom is really being celebrated?
An interesting example/question is: If somebody steals your bike, and they claim that stolen bike now as their own, then somebody comes and steals the bike from that new "owner", does that "owner" have the right to be mad that the stolen property, was stolen?
Many of our families went through the craziest shit imaginable to live in this country, and its a great place to be! Celebrate, have fun, and be safe! Also, question shi*t!!!!!
-Good or Bad, don't just accept, ask questions, listen to intuition.
-Living in a new house!
-Business of Slavery, doesn't add up.
-Homeless isn't so bad when appreciation is in tact!
