Nutrition is remarkable in its ability to have people with completely opposite views saying they have science to support completely opposite views.

Frustrating isn’t it? What are we suppose to believe?

Welcome to Dynamism Biohack, my name is Dr. Matt Hammett Wellness & Nutrition Expert, Lifestyle Trainer and Movement Enthusiast. In each week I’m going share with you how to make the right nutritious choices despite conflicting expert opinions where I help you to discover how to unlock your inner aborigine or your inner greatness. Thank you for spending this time with me today, so let’s get into the training.

In this training, were gonna learn that what we say about our self, to our self, matters most. Were going to look what makes Dynamic people dynamic; and Caged people caged up. Were going to learn how to gauge our own belief about our self so we can tap into our own inner greatness and become a dynamic person. And that leads us to Dynamism Biohack: Altitude Thinking.

The vocabulary of animals may seem foreign to us; they may not be able to form words, but they can certainly communicate with one another. Most birds use songs and calls, and other animals use a combination of sounds and movements to communicate, like the frog.

Primates such as monkeys and gorillas have an advanced system of communication that includes vocalization, hand gestures, and body language. However, even monkeys and gorillas stop short of what human primate animals have been able to achieve- spoken language.

Our ability to form a limitless number of thoughts into spoken word is one of the things that differentiate us from any other species on the planet.

Language developed into beliefs. And whether or not we believe in our self, determines your destiny. Remember, it’s not genetic. It’s the environment; it’s how well you eat, move, think, connect, and cope with stressors in your environment that matters. To do all that well. You have to have a strong belief, that you can do it.

So lets look at HUMAN BELIEFS develop.

A simple belief about yourself guides a large part of your life. This belief permeates every part of your life and makes a conscious person grow and at the same time, a Caged person fixated.

Carol S. Dweck Ph.D. is the leading researcher in the field of motivation and renowned Professor at Stanford University. She has done rigorous research about this simple belief. Her studies clearly define what a Caged person might be thinking versus a Dynamic person. Dynamic people have what she calls a “growth mindset,” and Caged people have a “fixed mindset.”

Caged people believe they are not worth anything, and that everything they do is on the line, and failure is something to avoid at all costs. Conscious people or Dynamic people embrace the challenge and see them as opportunities because they know those challenges can help them reach their highest potential. They consistently act to the limit knowing that failure is not really “going for it.” For over twenty years, Dweck has spent her life showing that the “view you adopt for yourself” profoundly affects how you lead your life. A simple belief about yourself has the power to keep you Caged or Dynamic, fixed or growth.

The Dynamic people have a growth mindset they feel that the “hand you’re dealt is just the starting point for development.” They believe the core characteristics you are born with can be cultivated through their efforts and improved. Therefore Dynamic people are more conscious and realize that what you are born with is just a starting point. They believe that with diligence, patience and persistence over the long run they can develop an extraordinary amount of growth and power no matter their circumstance in life or health.

Dynamic people are also rational about their optimism about growth. They realize that not everybody can become Beethoven or Einstein, but they believe that a person’s real potential is unknown. They view life as potential to be realized only with years of passion, hard work, and training. Caged people would never consider putting in that much hard work because they need to be able to show results immediately. They would interpret any potential failure to produce extraordinary results the first time out as proof that they are an idiot. The whole idea of working hard to Caged people would be a sign that they are not great. They love the cliché phrase, “it must be genetic” as an excuse not to try.

When human beings use their Think driver, we enter a new world. It is one of two worlds, the Caged people or the Dynamic people. You have a choice to be a Caged version of yourself or a Dynamic version of yourself. These mindsets are only beliefs. They’re dominant beliefs, and yes they can hold you back for decades if you allow them. They only exist in your mind, and you can change your mind.

And remember, if you like this training, click that like button or that love button. Leave us a message as to how this training has changed your life; I really look forward in hearing from you soon.

Malcolm Gladwell, the bestselling author, has suggested that “as a society, we value natural, effortless accomplishment over achievement through effort. We endow our heroes with superhuman abilities that lead them inevitably toward their greatness.” Michael Jordon didn’t pop up dribbling. In fact, can you remember that old Nike commercial where he talked about how many missed shots he had? We live in a world that cherishes so-called “natural” talent; you often hear the phrase, “it is in his genes” expression. That cultural illusion teaches us that we are born a genius, or we have got no hope! Now you know, that it is not true.

Dweck put it best, “Do you know that Darwin and Tolstoy were considered ordinary children; that Ben Hogan, one of the greatest golfers of all time, was completely uncoordinated and graceless as a child; that the photographer Cindy Sherman, who has been on virtually every list of the most influential artists of the 20th century, failed her first photography course? (Did you know) that Geraldine Page, one of our greatest actresses, was advised to give it up for lack of talent?”3 She explains the irony of it all. The top is where the Caged people hunger to be, but it’s where many Dynamic people arrive as a by-product of their enthusiasm for what they do.

For the Caged people, everything is about the outcome. If you fail, or not you’re best; it’s all been wasted. But for Dynamic people, they value what they’re doing regardless of the outcome. The secret formula for succeeding in life and this program comes from exercising your Think driver like a Dynamic person by embracing opportunities to grow yourself and your health. Allow the results to come naturally as a by-product of your dedication to giving your greatest gifts in the most excellent service to the world.

THE BAROMETER FOR ALTITUDE THINKING

It takes me a bit over 30 minutes to drive to work each day from my home. The route I take tends to be busy. The speed limit is only 55 mph, but the traffic seems to average around 70 mph. This makes it interesting on days my barometer for altitude thinking is off, as I tend to be the aggressive driver. The number one thing that seems to set off my barometer is what I had or didn’t have for breakfast.

Did I take the time to prepare for the week as I suggest in this book? Did I allow outside influence, like my kids, to keep me from proper week preparation? Bad eating almost always equates for spiritual unhappiness and a feeling of defeat, a huge barometer purge.

Your awareness and proper altitude thinking are preparation. It starts with ‘Carpe Noctem’. ‘Carpe Noctem’ is the Latin phrase which means “seize the night.” It too is used to encourage someone to make the most of their time, often in the sense of working into the early hours of the morning to get something finished.

It begins with the introduction of your day. How do your best days start? Why are some days better than others?

If you look back a few days, even months, you may notice that some days seem to start off better than others which may purge your attitude barometer. What made the difference? Was it in your control, or outside your influence?

One thing I have discovered with my attitude barometer other than my road rage is how well the day starts. If my day does not get off to a good start, it very rarely finishes with a good one. Once a day creeps silently away from us, we get stuck in survival mode. Most certainly, a day can get away from us in many different ways. The truth is a day will almost certainly go wrong unless we consciously take the time to focus the day first thing in the morning. We have to ‘Carpe Noctem‘. Should we forget, or get off on the wrong foot, we need to check our attitude barometers, something I call Gauge Checking.

Gauge Checking is more than just noticing your attitude. Gauge Checking is the heart and soul of The Five Pillars of a Dynamic Health. We simply ask ourselves questions based on the rules you will learn from this book. For example, Gauge Checking involves self-talk and asking this question: ‘How well am I eating, moving, thinking, connecting and coping’ with life compared to myself when I am not making the conscious choice.

How do your best days begin? What is your Gauge Check? Most people don’t know, or they just go with the flow. They might have an idea, but they simply never thought enough about it or experimented with it. One of the most important things that set Dynamic people apart is they know how their best days begin. They use this knowledge to give focused direction to their lives at the beginning of each day, and they Gauge Check a few times during the day.

The third driver of Dynamic people is How Well They Think. More specifically, it is a daily commitment to meditation. Dynamic people begin their day with some meditation, a spiritual book, yoga or some other routine that focuses their day. Some settle down in a chair with a cup of black coffee. Others jump on a treadmill or bike. Me, it’s going for a swim. Some focus their day by reading scripture or an empowering book.

But all of them begin their day with the mediation of some kind, however brief. Meditation makes Dynamic people spiritually healthy for the day.

How do your best days begin? Try starting your day with meditation, however brief, and observe how it impacts the rest of your day.

If you are a current patient in our office, I love you, thank you so much for your confidence in us. If you are not a patient, I certainly would love to meet you some day. Go to our website www.newlifefamilychiropracitc.net and also I just want to remind everyone that we got the same 24 hours in a day. I’m no busier than you are. but if your goal is to live a happier, healthier and fuller life, you’ve got to learn to manage your self, and that means managing your movement which drives your energy.

When we better manage our energy, were better able to be more present and enjoy our life, were better able to manage our five pillars of a dynamic health. You deserve a life that is peaceful, that is balanced, that is happy, where you have tons of good health.

The health that you need, the health that is on demand when you need it most. you see because health doesn’t come to you, it comes from you, it is a fruit that is grown and earned. and i know we all heard the genetic cliche, the blame it, name it, and tame it with a drug approach; but the truth is; the solution doesn’t lie with more drugs and surgeries; the solution lies with you. You know it’s not so much of a healthcare crisis as it is a self care crisis in our world today.

Thank you so much for spending this time with me. I love you, I love hearing from you, so don’t forget to reach out to me. Let me know what you thought about this episode. Do so, by whatever is your favorite social media platform. Send me a message their, let me know that you listened to this episode and what you thought of it and as always i appreciate in advance anyone who is kind enough to right a review. That is the ultimate gift, I appreciate you very much for that, i love spending this time with you. I’m Dr. Matt Hammett reminding you to lighten up, move better, and live fuller until next dynamism biohack,
