询问工作进展：How's the [paperwork/assignment/work] [coming/going]?文件/任务/工作进展的怎么样了？
How soon will you finish the work?你多久能完成工作？
How soon will the project/planning/work be finished?这个项目/规划/工作多久能结束？
When will [it/the project/the assignment] be [over/finished]?它/项目/任务什么时候能完成结束？
回复工作进展：
I'm just getting started.我才刚刚开始。
It's about halfway done/We're halfway done. 差不多做了一半了/我们已经做了一半了
It's about 20% completed. 完成了大约20%。
I've got about an hour to go. 我还要大约一个小时的时间。
I've got three pages left. 我还有三页没做。
I'm just finishing up right now.我马上就要做完了。
I just got it done. 我刚刚完成。
I'm working on it right now. 我正在做呢。
I'm going as fast as I can. 我在尽快做。
I am ahead of where I'm supposed to be. 我比要求的时间提前完成了。
