#overeating and #emotionaleating are more prevalent in our lives then we care to admit. From binging on high sugary snacks at night to burying our faces in fried, fatty foods, we always tend to curb our emotions with food.
Food unlike alcohol, isn't something we can just stop doing. We can't just stop eating like we can with booze or cigarettes.
So how do we control it?
First we have to ask why do we emotionally eat?
Emotionally eating usually stems from wanting to take out daily stressors with food to help bury and hid our emotions.
There are two ways to help confront this:
1. Take a stand to that stressor. Learn how to cope and work with that stressor instead of letting it linger throughout your days and weeks.
2. Take out that stress with something else. Tons of us, reach for unhealthy options when it comes to stress like booze or food. We then eat or drink way too much, to only stress more about our healthy and not be in the right mindset going forward. So what if, you took that stress out in a positive way?
Try:
