After studying the business of film making at Full Sail University, Kirk spent years in Los Angeles making movies, TV commercials, and music videos before he joined the U.S. Army in the years after 9/11 and became a broadcast journalist. When not working, Kirk creates stories with his five children and remarkable wife. He loves to solve cryptograms, puzzles, and riddles; all in an effort to help him decode the most complex puzzle, the brain.
