In this episode we will investigate why Microbes can crack even the most difficult and stable natural and man-made molecules, such as Benzene, Naphthalene and PFAS. Why and how do they do that? And what can we learn from microbes to improve our current energy-wasting chemistry?
Special Guest: Jan Gerritse (Deltares). Jan is a microbial specialist creating many innovative solutions using the knowledge on how microbes work. He will share us his experience and insights on what microbes can breakdown and what they are capable of doing!
