In this classic episode, originally broadcast August 19, 2020, Pastor Mueller is joined by Rev. Clarence Pettit of Unity Church in Wilmington. Pastor Pettit (as he is affectionately known by his congregation) has approximately 47 years in ministry. He has served the ELCA in Seattle, Washington and Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Pastor Pettit has been active in various religious and social service organizations in Delaware and recently served on the Delaware Maryland Synod Council, and has also enjoyed a longstanding friendship with Pastor Mueller. He and Pastor Mueller discuss growing the church, race relations, and what it takes to be a good pastor.
