我国GDP总量首超121万亿，同比增长3%

The country’s gross domestic product topped 121 trillion yuan last year, rising 3 percent from 2021, the National Bureau of Statistics announced today. The annual growth rate beat a median forecast of 2.8 percent among economists polled by Reuters. Ying Junyi has more.

国家统计局网站于今日（01/17）发布的消息显示，初步核算，2022年全年我国国内生产总值1210207亿元，按不变价格计算，比上年增长3.0%。该年增长率超过了此前路透社的经济学家们预测的2.8%增长中值。记者为您带来更多报道。

China’s industrial output, (value-added of the industrial enterprises above designated size) a measure of business in the manufacturing, mining and utilities sectors, increased by 3.6 percent year-on-year in 2022, while retail sales for the year remained steady at around 44 trillion yuan. The statistics bureau said that China’s 2022 economic growth stabilized after various measures were taken to shore up growth, but warned that the economy still remains under pressure.

数据显示，2022年全年，全国规模以上工业增加值比上年增长3.6%，这一年的零售额仍然稳定在44万亿元左右。在政府采取措施支撑增长后，中国2022年的经济增长趋于稳定，但经济学家称，由于国际形势依然复杂，国内经济仍然面临着较大风险。

“China saw stable and high-quality economic growth in 2022, with COVID preventions taking effect. But now we face pressure on both the supply and demand sides, as there is still a complicated international economic situation.”

“总的来看，2022年高效统筹疫情防控和经济社会发展取得积极成效，稳住了宏观经济大盘，经济总量持续扩大，发展质量稳步提高；同时也要看到，国际形势依然复杂严峻，国内需求收缩、供给冲击、预期转弱三重压力仍然较大。”

China’s surveyed urban unemployment rate stood at 5.5 percent in December, the bureau said, 0.2 percentage points lower than that of the previous month. For the whole year of2022, a total of 12 million new urban jobs were created, over-fulfilling the government’s annual target of 11 million.

国家统计局称，2022年12月份的调查结果表示，全国城镇调查失业率为5.5%，比上月下降0.2个百分点。2022年全年，政府共创造了1200万个新的城镇就业机会，超额完成了此前制定的1100万个就业机会的年度目标。

“The government has implemented【实施】 more policies to support companies and help graduates and migrant workers with their employment. The recovery in the economy will create more new jobs. More people traveling will lead to a recovery in service industries, including hospitality and tourism. That will boost employment as well.”

“一系列援企稳岗的就业帮扶政策落实落地，对高校毕业生、农民工等重点群体的就业稳定产生了积极的影响。随着经济的好转、就业需求的扩大，岗位会相应增加，居民出行增加，将带动住宿餐饮、旅游等服务业恢复，有利于吸纳更多就业机会。”

The statistics bureau also reported today that China’s foreign trade in goods last year saw a 7.7 percent year-on-year growth to 42 trillion yuan.

此外，数据显示，中国去年的对外货物贸易同比增长了7.7%，达到42万亿元。

2.RENOVATION OFSTRETCH OF INNER RING ROAD COMPLETED

空间整体“焕新”！内环高架（四平路-政本路）内圈改造完成

The renovation of a 700-meter long section of the Inner Ring Road has been completed, including the redevelopment of the space under it into sports and leisure facilities. Tang Xiaofan has more.

今年1月13日，内环高架设施提升和功能完善工程（四平路-政本路）内圈“健康监测系统”顺利安装完毕，桥下空间改造升级，增加运动娱乐设施。至此，该路段的内、外圈施工基本结束，内环“年轻化”工程试验段实现了高架的桥上桥下空间整体“焕新”。记者唐晓帆带来更多报道。

The renovated section stretches from Siping Road to Zhengben Road. Bridge structures were reinforced and ancillary【从属的】 facilities including crash-proof shields were upgraded.

改造后的路段从四平路延伸至政本路。桥梁结构得到了加固，包括防撞护栏在内的附属设施也得到了升级。

“The elevated road has been refurbished to handle surging traffic flow. The project will provide valuable experience for the overall renovation of the Inner Ring Road.”

“我们把高架路从老龄的状态恢复到了能够正常运行的道路状态，使它能够达满足目前的交通需求，这项工程也为之后内环的整体改造积累了很多宝贵经验。”

Smart sensors were installed to monitor traffic flow and structural problems. Potted flowers along the road will be watered by an automated irrigation system.

内圈改造还引入了不少自动化系统：在高架路段安装了智能传感器以监测交通流量和结构问题，高架道路两旁的盆花也将由自动灌溉系统浇灌。

“We have created a digital model of the bridge to judge its problems. It will offer suggestions and guidance when repairs are necessary.”

Under the elevated road, a public space was built. It features a basketball court, exercise equipment and walking trail.

此外，桥上设施改造和桥下景观提升同步实施，在高架路下，还建造了一个公共空间，设有篮球场、运动器材和步行道。

The space covers 10,000 square meters and is the first of its kind in Yangpu District. Other sections of the Inner Ring Road will be renovated this year.

该空间占地10,000平方米，是杨浦区的第一个高架桥上桥下空间互融的尝试。内环路的其他路段也将在今年进行改造。

3.W.E.F. ANNUAL MEETING BEGINS IN DAVOS

瑞士达沃斯：世界经济论坛2023年年会开幕

The annual meeting of the World Economic Forum opened yesterday in Davos, Switzerland. This year’s theme is "Cooperation in a Fragmented【分裂的】 World". Over 2,700 leaders from 130 countries are attending the meeting.

昨天（当地时间01/16），为期5天的 2023年世界经济论坛年会在瑞士小镇达沃斯开幕。来自130个国家的约2700位各界代表参与会议。

This year’s forum will focus on five topics: the ongoing energy and food crisis; managing high inflation, low growth, and the high debt economy; battling industry headwinds; social vulnerabilities amidst a cost of living crisis, and navigating the geo-political risks in a multi-polar world. Representatives will organize hundreds of public and private meetings and dialogues during the five-day meeting, which will conclude on January 20th, 2023.

本次年会主题为“在分裂的世界中加强合作”，与会各方将就当前全球面临的多重挑战共商对策。本届年会侧重五大议题：如何解决当前能源和粮食危机，如何应对当前的高通胀、低增长和高负债，如何应对工业不景气，如何解决当前社会脆弱性问题，如何应对当前地缘政治风险。在为期5天的时间里，年会将进行数百场公开或非公开的会议与对话，会议将于2023年1月20日结束。
