1. DEALS SIGNED FOR 322 PROJECTS
全球投资促进大会签约322个重大项目
322 agreements were signed today on projects worth more than 565 billion yuan at the Shanghai Global Investment Promotion Conference. Zhang Hong tells us more.
今天（6/16）在上海全球投资促进大会上，总投资5658亿元的322个重大产业项目签约。记者张泓带来详细报道。
Among the newly signed【签署】 projects, 90 were in the fields of integrated circuits, biomedicine and artificial intelligence and worth over 204 billion yuan. SmartSens Technology, a Shanghai-based company specialized in producing sensor【传感器】 chips, signed an agreement today to set up its global headquarters【总部】 in Pudong.
集成电路、生物医药、人工智能三大先导产业，签约项目达90个，价值超过2040亿元。专门生产传感器芯片的思特威（上海）电子科技股份有限公司也在今天（6/16）签署协议，于上海浦东设立其全球总部。

State-owned companies also have new projects lined up in Shanghai. China Telecom is investing 8 billion yuan in a national computing power distribution center for the Yangtze Delta area. China Electrical Equipment Group plans to spend 1 billion yuan for a supply chain technology headquarters.
国有企业也把新项目对准了上海。中国电信拟投资80亿元，打造长三角国家枢纽节点算力调度平台和直连网络建设项目；中国电气装备拟投资10亿元，建立供应链科技总部。

Agreements on 322 projects with 565.8 billion yuan of investment were signed today. Construction started on another 48 major projects with 162.7 yuan invested. It shows domestic and foreign companies’ faith in Shanghai’s growth and a manifestation【表现】 of Shanghai’s improving investment environment.
今天有总投资达5658亿元的322个项目签约，有总投资1627亿元的48个重大项目开工。说明中外企业看好上海发展的决心没有变，上海的投资环境也在不断优化。
The government also released plans to build 13 new industrial parks in the city to attract investment in the fields of digital economy, sustainable development, metaverse and intelligent terminals. A series of investment promotion events will be held in Shanghai through August.
同时，政府发布计划，将在上海建立13个新的工业园区，以吸引更多数字经济、可持续发展、元宇宙和智能终端等领域的投资。八月，上海还将举行一系列投资促进活动。
2. DISNEYTOWN, DISNEYLAND HOTEL REOPEN
迪士尼小镇、酒店恢复运营
Disneytown and Shanghai Disneyland Hotel reopened today, which marks the 6th anniversary of the resort. All shopping, dining and recreational venues are operating at limited capacity to comply with【遵守】 COVID-19 regulations. Song Wenjing has the story.
今天（6月16日）是上海迪士尼度假区开幕六周年纪念日，迪士尼小镇和迪士尼乐园酒店也在今天恢复运营，根据新冠疫情防控指示，以上所有场所目前都限流运营。记者宋雯婧带来详细报道。
At 10am, visitors entered Disneytown after passing a temperature check at the entrance and presenting a green health code and a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours. Disneytown is open daily from 10am to 7pm.

More than 90 percent of the stores at Disneytown have reopened, but each store limits the number of people allowed inside. People also need to scan the venue code of each store before entering. Restaurants only provide take-out services for the time being. The Disney hotel also reopened, but its 4 restaurants are currently reserved for hotel guests. Police have enhanced patrols and inspections to ensure virus protocols are being followed.
小镇上九成以上的店铺已经开门营业，但各家店铺都调低了店内的最高承载量。游客进入店铺时，需要再次扫描店铺的场所码。小镇上的餐饮商户目前只提供打包外卖菜单。迪士尼乐园酒店也于今天（6/16）恢复运营，但酒店内的4家餐厅目前仅对酒店住客开放。为保障游客有序遵守防疫规定，度假区警方增加了现场巡逻频次，实时处置现场情况。

3.U.S. FED ANNOUNCES BIGGEST RATE HIKE SINCE 1994

The US Federal Reserve yesterday raised its benchmark【基准】 interest rate by 75 basis points in an effort to fight red-hot inflation. The move marks the sharpest rate hike since 1994, and brings the key benchmark federal funds rate to between 1.5 and 1.75 percent. has more.

The Japanese yen fell to a fresh 24-year low against the US dollar recently. The South Korean government said it will keep close tabs on the financial market as worries are growing over heightening volatility from monetary tightening in the United States.
