As monkeypox was declared a "global emergency" by the World Health Organization, Shanghai-based Zj Bio-tech, a test kit【装备】 provider for the WHO, said it had received 24 urgent orders from the organization. The company is now mass producing monkeypox test kits. Zhang Hong tells us more.

The PCR test kit developed by Shanghai Zj Bio-tech can detect specific sequences of monkeypox viral DNA through fluorescence【荧光】. The company said this method is highly accurate.

这款上海研制的猴痘病毒核酸测定试剂盒,通过特异性荧光法测定猴痘病毒的基因片段。该公司表明，此方法具有较高的灵敏度和准确率。

A PCR test is so far the best way to detect a pathogen of many contagious【传染性的】diseases. Test accuracy is generally above 95%, and it can reach over 99% for some diseases.

对于很多传染性病原体的检测，现在全世界最好的检测方式也是核酸检测。对于现在检测的准确性，使用这个方法的话准确率基本都在95%以上，对于个体的一些疾病可以达到99%以上。

The company said the test kits have been shipped to 41 countries and regions since May, including 24 orders from the WHO for 21 countries in Africa, Europe, Oceania and Southeast Asia.

该公司表示，自今年5月以来，之江生物的这一检测盒，已供应全球41个国家和地区。其中，来自世卫组织的紧急订单共计24批次，发往21个国家，涉及非洲、欧洲、大洋洲及东南亚等地区。

We have improved our PCR test kit production equipment due to the coronavirus pandemic. Now we can produce over 3 million test kits for monkeypox virus every day.

由于新冠疫情，使我们核酸检测试剂生产制造平台已经得到非常有效的建设。我们目前的日产能都已经达到300万个以上。

According to the WHO, monkeypox has been detected in more than 70 countries. WHO officials are urging people to take the current outbreaks seriously. No infection has been reported on the Chinese mainland so far.

据世界卫生组织称，目前已在 70 多个国家和地区发现了猴痘病例。世卫组织敦促人们重视当前的猴痘疫情。截至目前，中国大陆尚未发现感染病例。

2.WENTIAN LAB MODULE DOCKS WITH SPACE STATION

Three astronauts entered the space lab Wentian this morning after it had docked with the country’s space station. Zhang Hong brings us the details.

Wentian docked with the core module of the space station at 3:13am today, completing a process that took 13 hours.

今日（7.25）凌晨3点13分，问天成功与空间站核心舱对接，整个过程历时约13个小时。

This is the first time we practiced in-orbit docking between large modules, and also the first semi-autonomous fast-docking. In general, the whole process was completed accurately and successfully.

At 10:03, astronaut Chen Dong opened the hatch door of Wentian and stepped inside. Liu Yang and Cai Xuzhe entered 8 minutes later.

在今日（7.25）上午10点03分，航天员陈冬打开了问天的实验舱的舱门，走了进去。8分钟后，另两名航天员刘阳和蔡旭哲也顺利进入问天实验舱。

This is the second module for us to live and work in up here. It’s another major step in building China’s space station. We feel very proud.

The crew will conduct work including attitude control of the space station. Tianhe, the space station’ s core module, was launched into orbit in April 2021. Assembly of the space station is expected to be completed this year when the Mengtian lab module is launched. Upon completion, the space station will be T-shaped with Tianhe in the center, and the Wentian and Mengtian modules attached to either side.

接下来，三名宇航员将进行包括组合体姿态融合控制等在内的工作。“天和”是空间站的核心舱，于 2021 年 4 月成功发射并进入轨道。整个空间站预计将在今年“梦天”实验舱发射后完成组装。建成后，空间站将呈T形，以天和为中心，问天和梦天处于两侧。

3.SAMSUNG CELEBRATES 1ST SHIPMENT OF 3NM CHIPS

Samsung Electronics held a ceremony to mark the first shipment【运送】 of their newly developed 3-nanometer chips yesterday, at the company's plant in Hwaseong.

昨天（7.24），韩国三星电子公司（VTR）在京畿道华城厂区举行了第一批3纳米芯片出厂纪念活动。

The shipment represents samsung taking the lead in the race to build the world's fastest processors. The Korean company first announced it would begin mass producing the chip on June 30th of this year. They were manufactured【批量制造】 using Samsung's new 3-nanometer process node based on Gate-All-Around or "GAA" transistor【晶体管】architecture which reduces manufacturing space and represents a leap forward in terms of peak performance and power consumption.

这批纳米芯片代表着，在制造“全球最快处理器”的国际竞赛中，三星已处于领先地位。今年 6 月 30 日，三星率先宣布开始量产3纳米芯片。在使用GAA晶体管架构的基础上，芯片生产将应用三星新的3纳米芯片工艺。该设计减少了面积，并意味着三星在峰值性能和功耗方面的技术已实现重大突破。
