交通部官员表示正在为台风的到来做好准备

Public transportation authorities in Shanghai said they have been preparing for Typhoon Muifa, while ferries【渡船】 have already been suspended【暂停】 in coastal areas inZhejiang Province. Zhang Yue has more.

上海交通部表示在为台风“梅花”做准备，浙江省沿海地区的渡船已经停运。记者张悦带来更多报道。

At one of the bus stops along route 65, volunteers were carrying sandbags to fill the gap between the platform and the bus to prevent passengers from slipping down. A Jiushi Bus Group employees said drivers of electric buses will turn the engine off and cut the power immediately if the water level reaches the warning level.

在65路公交的一个站点，志愿者扛来沙包，放到上下车中间的空位里，以免乘客滑倒。久事公交巴士公司的一名员工表示，如果涉水达到了警戒线，新能源车的驾驶员会立马熄火、断电。

We have volunteers in areas prone to flooding. They will report to the company right away if they see any flooding. Emergency plans will be initiated【发起】 immediately.

Subway station employees have also been making preparations, such as preparing sandbags and water pumps.

Metro trains at street level will be suspended if wind speeds reach around 80 kilometers per hour. Surveillance cameras will be operating 24 hours aday to monitor the situation in each tunnel.

Weather forecasters reminded commuters to follow Shanghai Metro updates the next few days, as Muifa is expected to bring strong winds and heavy rain on Thursday morning during rush hours. Some trains traveling within the Yangtze River Delta region were suspended today, as well as some connecting Shanghai, Kunming, and Beijing. In Zhejiang Province, 26 ferry lines in Ningbo City were halted. In Zhoushan, more than 6,000 tourists in Shengsi County were evacuated to safer places, as well asanother 4,000 at Putuo Mountain resort. Schools will be closed tomorrow in places including Ningbo, Zhoushan, and Taizhou as Zhejiang officials lifted its typhoon emergency response to Level 1 at 5pm today.

受台风“梅花”影响，地铁运营受影响最大的时段可能在本周四（9/15）的早高峰，届时将带来强风和暴雨，天气预报提醒市民未来几天通勤密切关注上海地铁的官方通告。长江三角洲区域内的部分火车线路及连通上海、昆明和北京的线路今天（9/13）也实施停运。浙江宁波26条轮渡线停运。舟山嵊泗6000余名游客及普陀山的4000名游客被疏散至更安全的地点。今天（9/13）5点，浙江官员将台风应急响应提升至Ⅰ级，宁波、舟山、台州等地的学校明天将关闭。

2.AUTOMATED PCR TEST WORKSTATION APPROVED

无人值守核酸检测平台获批上市

An automated PCR sample testing work-station developed by a Shanghai-based company has been approved by the National Medical Products Administration. It can test 48 tubes in 2 hours and is so far the smallest work-station among those with the same capacity. Zhang Hong tells us more about how it works.

上海研发的全自动核酸检测系统获国家药监局批准上市。可在2小时内完成48管样本检测，是目前同等检测能力中体积最小的检测平台。记者张泓带来更多详细报道。

The workstation weighs 45 kilograms and fits on top of a desk. Only 1 person is needed to collect tissue samples as everything else is automated.

这个设备重45公斤，固定在桌子上，这里只需要坐一个采样员，其他都是全自动的。

Sample testing is done in a closed negative pressure system that ensures bio-safety. It automatically【自动地】 completes nucleic acid extraction【提炼】, detection and analysis.

样本检测在封闭负压系统内进行，确保生物安全。可全自动实现核酸检测的采样、检测、分析。

The workstation can have samples in 48 tubes tested each time. If there are 10 samples in each tube, it means 480 samples can be tested at the same time. It enhances【加强】 the current sample testing efficiency and generates a report faster.

（"小青耕"）每次可以检测48个样本。如果是10混1采样的话，（每次）能检测480人份，检测能力提高、检测量加大，快速出报告。

Due to its small size, the workstation can be used at fever clinics, schools, airports and customs checkpoints. The station only requires workers to refill the chemical reagent four times a day.

“小青耕”体积小，可以用于发热门诊、学校、机场和海关。该系统每天仅需4次人工干预进行耗材移放。

3.UKRAINE CLAIMS TO HAVE RETAKEN 6,000 SQUARE KILOMETERS OF LAND

乌军称已夺回6000平方公里领土

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said on Monday that Ukrainian forces had retaken 6,000 square kilometers of Russian-held territory since the beginning of the month.

乌克兰总统弗拉基米尔·泽连斯基周一（9/12）称乌军自本月以来已夺回6000平方公里领土。

As thousands of Russian troops pulled back following Ukraine’s gains, they left behind ammunition and equipment. Russian forces fired missiles at power stations on Sunday causing blackouts in the Kharkiv region as well as the adjacent regions of Poltava and Sumy. Ukraine denounced the strikes as retaliation against civilian targets for Russia’s military setbacks. The Russian military says its forces eliminated a depot storing 45,000 tons of ammunition near the town of Voznesensk in Mikolaiv. In a video address released on Monday, Zelenskiy repeated a call for Russian citizens to be denied tourist visas in European and other countries around the world.
