President Xin Jinping will attend the 29th Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Economic Leader’s Meeting tomorrow in Bangkok, Thailand. Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson Mao Ning announced today that Xi will also meet Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida on the sidelines of the APEC Meeting.

国家主席习近平将于明日抵达泰国曼谷，出席亚太经合组织第二十九次领导人非正式会议。外交部发言人毛宁表示，会议期间，习近平主席还将会见日本首相岸田文雄。

It will be the first official meeting between Xi and Kishida. As this year marks the 50th anniversary of the normalization of China-Japan diplomatic ties, both should conform with the trend of the times and the international trend, and deepen cooperation while managing differences. The two countries should also work together in building bilateral relations that suit the needs of the new era.

这是两国领导人首次正式会晤。今年是中日邦交正常化50周年，双方应顺应潮流大势，坚持和平友好，深化互利合作，妥善管控分歧，共同致力于构建契合新时代要求的中日关系。

2.DIGITALIZATION CHANGING THE HEALTHCARE INDUSTRY

2022上海国际生物医药产业周数字化医疗创新论坛圆满举行

The ongoing 2022 International Biopharma Industry Week features nearly 40 forums and activities with a collection of academicians, doctors, and industry leading companies including Roche andAstraZeneca. One of the topics being discussed is how digitalization has been utilized in the healthcare industry. Zhang Yue finds out more.

正在举行的“2022上海国际生物医药产业周”由近40场论坛和同期活动组成，医疗人员、专家学者和包括罗氏及阿斯利康在内的行业龙头企业共聚一堂。数字医疗的发展成为了会议上关注的热点。记者张乐带来更多详细报道。

Fudan University Shanghai Cancer Center has been using AI technology to help doctors withpathology【病理】classification since 2019. In the past, pathology classification for a triple negative breast cancer patient took at least several days. However, it has been cut to just a few hours. The hospital said the AI accuracy rate has already reached 92%, which helps doctors better treatment plans for patients.

复旦大学附属肿瘤医院从2019年开始使用人工智能帮助医生进行病理分类，将以往需要数天才能完成的三阴性乳腺癌的病理分型缩短至数小时内。院方表示，人工智能的识别准确率已达到92%以上，为后续医生制定精准治疗方案提供有力支撑。

AI technology is capable of detecting what doctors can not see with their eyes. It can also recognize patterns that doctors would not be able to with their traditional experiences.

AI and big data are also helping doctors develop more personalized treatment plans.

人工智能和大数据分析也在帮助医生制定更加个性化的治疗方案。

Doctors said digitalization will be utilized more in public health, clinical research, and hospital management. The annual output of Shanghai’sbiopharmaceutical【生物制药学】industry reached 761.7 billion yuan last year, up from 383.3 billion yuan in 2019.

业内人士表示，数字技术将在医疗健康、公共卫生、临床科研及医院管理等方面创造出更大价值。去年，上海生物医药产业的规模达到7617亿元，超过了2019年的3833亿元。

3.MULTIPLE MISSILES STRIKES IN UKRAINE,EXPLOSIONS IN POLAND UNDER INVESTIGATION

波兰: 导弹落入与乌克兰接壤地区 致两人死亡

According to the Ukrainian news agency, missile strikes were carried out on Ukraine’s multiple cities, including capital Kyiv yesterday. Lei Shuran has the story.

乌克兰国家通讯社称，昨日（当地时间11/15），包括首都基辅在内的多地遭到了大规模导弹袭击。记者雷舒然带来更多报道。

Emergency blackouts were imposed in Kyiv. In Zhytomyr city, two missile strikes were carried out on energy infrastructure, knocking out the city’s power supply. Ukraine’s prime minister yesterday confirmed that almost all regions of the country are experiencing power outages.The Polish government confirmed last night that two citizens were killed in explosions in a Polish city near the Ukraine border. Early media reports said missiles had hit there in the afternoon. A Polish government spokesman said they are increasing the readiness of some military units and other uniformed services.

The cause of the explosions is still unclear. Several Polish mediaoutlets【从事大众媒体行业的公司】said earlier that the blasts were reportedly caused by Russian rockets falling on eastern Poland, but there has been no official confirmation that the explosions were caused by rockets or missiles.The Russian Defense Ministry denied the reports by saying in a statement that the media and officials in Poland are committing deliberate provocation to escalate the situation. The President of Poland responded to the incident today.

爆炸的原因尚不清楚，多家波兰媒体早些时候报道，称俄罗斯的火箭弹造成了波兰东部的爆炸，但未官方确认爆炸源于火箭弹或是导弹。俄国防部则发表声明否认了这些报道，并称波兰方面故意将矛头指向俄罗斯，是企图引发局势升级的挑衅。波兰总统今天（当地时间11/16）对这一事件作出回应。

US President Joe Biden pledged support for Poland’s investigation after convening an emergency meeting of the Group of Seven, and NATO leaders in Indonesia. Biden said it was unlikely that the missile was fired from Russia.
