Quarantine Episode 3. (Minnesota Burnin' ft. Antwann Michael)
Manage episode 297400034 series 2950876
We are at day 7 which means I am officially half way through my mandatory-isolation at the Stamford Plaza and man am I looking rough. Without going into too much detail I give ya'll a quick update on food delivery experience, smuggling edibles, and dealing with my jet lag.
A major part of creating this podcast was for me to tell stories and give my friends something to laugh about, but these last couple days my thoughts have only been with my brothers and sisters in the states. I wanted to have a discussion with somebody who could give the protest justice and brought on an expert on the topic of "Protesting in America."
Antwann Micheal, lectures at UCLA and most recently taught the class "Black Resistance in Trump’s America: Power, Politics, and Protest." This is a very insightful conversation and helped me deal with my own thoughts and feelings about everything happening and I hope you learn something from it.
The Interview starts at 19:40
