The North Asia CAPE recently hosted a Post-Covid live panel: New Zealand’s mahi in the region. The discussion was moderated by North Asia CAPE Director Professor Paul Clark, and featured economist and commentator Shamubeel Eaqub; former New Zealand Ambassador to China John McKinnon and University of Auckland Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Strategic Engagement) Professor Jenny Dixon. Thanks to the CAPE for sharing its event on our platform. It was a fascinating evening, with speakers encouraging us to consider how New Zealand will respond to these challenging times. Tune in to hear Shamubeel’s thought provoking assessment of the challenges facing our society, John’s insights and forward-thinking on our relationship with China and Professor Jenny Dixon’s emphasis on the importance of keeping universities connected and open to the world.
