S2:E15 Incremental Steps To Your Desired Outcome

When you have a desire to do something or to have something, or maybe it's to have the experience of something, incremental progress is a good way to start. This can apply to anything you want or need ranging in areas such as relationships, the workplace or a career, maybe it's in the area of finances, it can be health related, spirituality or any kind of self improvement, or, perhaps you're looking to make a change in your life. When you have identified what it is and you have an idea or a vision of what it could look like, you are well on your way.
What is your need? What do you want? What are your ideas and desires? In the practical sense, I recommend that you write down your thoughts, desires or ideas as they come. Then, turn your thoughts and ideas into a vision. This is a very important first step. Neville Goddard says it like this, “With your desire defined, quietly go within and shut the door behind you. Lose yourself in your desire; feel yourself to be one with it; remain in this fixation until you have absorbed the life and name by claiming and feeling yourself to be and to have that which you desired. When you emerge, you must do so conscious of being and possessing that which you heretofore desired.” How do you do this?
Prayer or Meditation is a good way to gain the clarity you need to identify and then to connect to that vision. There are many ways you can meditate. For this practice, I would suggest sitting down with your thoughts and ideas and then get quiet as Neville said. You do this by holding your wants, needs, desires and ideas in your heart. Remember, your heart knows! In meditation, you don't have to think about it. As you quiet down your mind, you can allow some visualization to take place. Allow your imagination to create and form pictures or images. As this is happening, connect with it through feeling. Feel as though it has already happened. What does that feel like? Does it feel like relief? Do you feel the possibility, because, here, you won't see or feel any limitations. You don't have to stay in this place very long. It can be as little as a few seconds or it can be much longer. Once you see it and you connect with it through the feeling it brings, it's enough. Now, here is your vision.
Afterward, when you emerge, write down what you saw and how you felt. When the vision is written down, it will begin to solidify. The vision written down helps us to start making a path or a plan that we can accomplish. If we don't write the vision down, then we can quickly forget it. But when it is written down we begin walking in the reward of its success. So, write down your vision in as much detail as you can and notice how that compares to the thoughts and ideas you had prior to meditating.
From here, you can begin taking the next incremental steps forward. Do what you can everyday even if it's an inch at a time. When you hold your vision in your heart, doors will open for you. Opportunities that support your vision will become available to you and little by little, step by step, inch by inch, you will be making incremental progress.
So, don't let any limitations get in your way. If you have a desire it's for you. Turn it into a vision and become the determiner of the outcome.
