Callan Chythlook-Sifsof is a brave athlete. Growing up in rural Alaska, a town of just 200 people, she forged a path for herself with no role models in her sport of snowboarding. Not only did she become the first Indigenous Alaskan to represent the United States in the Olympics, but she also came out publicly as gay during the 2014 Winter Olympic Games held in Sochi, Russia. She talks with us about the discrimination she's faced for her gender, sexual orientation and race, as well as what it was like dating one of her competitors on the team of another country.
