120. Diabetes and Business Unsliced with Pizza Man Mike Bausch
Manage episode 419424655 series 3332851
My favorite recording of the year thus far! Meet Mike Bausch, 2x best-selling Amazon author, Guinness World Record holder, and owner of nationally ranked Andolini’s Pizzeria in Tulsa, OK, who has done all of this while living with T1D for the past 20 years. It took neuropathy of the face while training for Officer Candidacy School before Mike would take his diabetes symptoms seriously. Today, we’re discussing his story, what he attributes all his success to, asking for help, alcohol, the dopamine boost from junk food, and, of course, we talk pizza!
