Orchid and peony

An orchid needn’t be jealous of a peony,just like the stars never envy the moon.

Everyone has different karma, fate, and position, also gets his contribution, mission and path individually. No two persons coincide completely with each other, so we don’t need to judge and compare with a common standard.

Jealousy can bring us nothing belonging to others, and all we can do is to cherish what we have. When consuming time and energy in envying others, we ignore our own causes, and lose our original happiness within. So, we need to find beauty and hope from our own lives.

The more chaotic it appears outside, the more we need to keep calm and optimistic inside. Jealousy originates from our narrow mind and conflicts with others. We should often rejoice others’ wholesome deeds and make dedications of our merits so as to broaden our mind.Don’t think about what we lack all the time, instead, think of what we already have. Wake up with an aspiration every day, and fall asleep with gratitude every night.

兰花不需要去嫉妒牡丹花，

星星不需要去嫉妒月亮，

每个人有每个人的因缘、命运、位置，

每个人有每个人的价值、使命、道路，

没有任何两个人是可以完全重合的，

也没有必要用同一把尺子去衡量比较。

别人的东西是嫉妒不来的，

只有珍惜自己的东西。

当我们花时间和心力

去嫉妒别人时，

就忽视了自己的因缘，

失去了本有的快乐,

要去发现生活中的美好和希望。

外境越动荡，

越需要保持一颗平静的心、乐观的心。

嫉妒的根源是自己与他人

有对立，心胸狭窄。

要常常去随喜，常常去回向，

让自己心量扩大。

不要总想自己没有的，

要想想自己拥有的。

每天要在愿心中醒来，

在感恩中睡下。
