Hey, listeners of Sharing a catholic song, welcome back. Here is Anthony. In this episode, let's meet a friend from Croatia, Petra Heisinger, who has multiple social roles, a flutist, a music school headmaster, professional fitness and sports coach. With the theme of hope, let's listen to her insights about music, faith, and life.
In these challenging times where the formation of our person and the belief in a happy ending as in fairy tales, from a young Democracy in a specific region on Balkan, where we had so many wars, I want to let you know that the main tool in guarding our collectedness and the structure of our person is Hope.
If we look at the challenges today as the strengthening of hope and trust it brings out the meaningful side of it in the way we think. Now I am encouraging you to use all the tools to wake up hope and bravery in strengthening our faith as it is our only tool in surviving these times.
The main tool in looking above the material world, however, is art more specifically music, as it is the deepest experience that enters a homo sapiens through sound. I invite you to dive into the world of relaxing classical music to become little in the absence of ego. In that sense, I want to direct us that we are hanging on a thread of Love in this world and that's why I chose the song Amazing Grace.
What I want to send as a message is that we are saving this world and our future Generations through faith and trust by teaching them to love life to hear the birds feel the rain to play on the clouds while having classical music as a background. Let's teach them to listen to the wind, to silence if not music. Let's teach them to love, That is the only way to teach them to live.
To us, I want to say when we feel the beauty of pain we need to use it for the strengthening of Hope and Faith, in this way music is what touches the deepest of human being and connects him to what is only seen by the heart.
Music is the tool that needs to be experienced and used as a language. As a way of communication, it has to be written and read with the deepest possible message for our value system which responses to the good. Life is unusual, shocking, unsolvable challenging and that is why hope is tempted so many times.
On another hand when we let ourselves indulge in trust and Hope we see Life is made to perfection. It is because this way of seeing things raises us to the point of the objective view of things. Our losses we have to view as an opportunity and privilege to strengthen our hope and on this note, dive with me into the deep message of the following song.
Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me
I once was lost, but now I am found
Was blind, but now I see
'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear
And grace my fears relieved
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed
Through many dangers, toils and snares
We have already come
'Twas grace has brought us safe thus far
And grace will lead us home
When we've been there ten thousand years
Bright, shining as the sun
We've no less days to sing God's praise
Than when we've first begun
