Pe Tine Te Fericim
Hi Guys, welcome back to sharing a catholic song, you’re listening to a typical hymn of the Byzantine Rite, recommended by my best friend Emil from Romania. Let’s go ahead and take a listen first.
Dear brothers in Christ from China! Peace be with you!
My name is Emil Vasvari and I'm a subdiaconate of the Eastern Catholic Church in Romania.
Now, responding to the invitation of your podcast host, I would like to share with you a song which touched me very deeply in my spiritual life, and always when l listen to it make me feel like a touch from God.
The song is named "The pure virgin" and it is a hymn composed by the Holy Nectarius.
这首歌被命名为《至洁贞女》，它是一首由希腊圣人Nectarius of Aegina (1846-1920, 圣人瞻礼：11月9日）写作的赞美诗。
This beautiful song is sometimes sung at the beginning of Vespers or during the holly communion of believers in our Divine Liturgy.
From my experience, I see how this song brings many souls closer to God through its message and melody which reaches deeply in your heart if you are open to receive them.
Pe Tine Te Fericim
We glorify you
O Holy Mary, the Pure Virgin,
We want to glorify you!
You are all fair, O Virgin Mary,
You never knew the stain of sin;
You, the great honor of people,
You, the advocate of the sinner.
O Mary, the most Virgin, we glorify you!
Hymn composed by St.Nectarius
