Jesus is eternally preexistent. He is the true light and He came into the world to save us. God created a perfect world. He created people in His own image, calling them to be obedient so they could worship Him. Then they sinned and poison came into the world, which affected everything. Jesus came to rescue us from the wrath that we deserve. Long before we were created, He already had a plan to save us.
Jesus, the very revelation of God, was despised by those He came to save. The light of the world had been revealed and then it was rejected. Through Him, we’ve received grace upon grace. We need to have a constant awareness of the grace that’s been given to us to remind us to be gracious to others.
There are aspects to God that we won’t ever understand. We can’t even figure another human out. God is preexistent, He existed before all of time. Before space and matter. You have a mission to the Gospel, go and tell everyone.
