Karan Soni is an Indian-born American actor who is best known for playing Dopinder in the Deadpool films. He was born and raised in New Delhi, India and he grew up studying theater and continued his education at the University of Southern California.

While in school Karan began auditioning for film and TV roles, eventually landing a lead role in Safety Not Guaranteed. Since that film, he has starred in several other feature films including the Deadpool movies, Paul Feig’s Ghostbusters, Office Christmas Party, Trolls World Tour, Always Be My Maybe and Detective Pikachu amongst others.

In television he has appeared as a series regular on shows like Betas, Other Space and Blunt Talk along with guest roles on Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Will & Grace, Silicon Valley and many more.

Karan currently stars in the series Miracle Workers opposite Daniel Radcliffe and Steve Buscemi. Karan also recently directed his first episode of television for the HBO series Room 104.
