Much like the sapphic poet Emily Dickinson, Taylor uses he/him pronouns to cover queerness in her songs. Madyson summarizes Taylor’s queer use of pronouns in folklore/evermore as more intentionally coded than previous albums, and her focus on "you". Katie presents a vivid interpretation of Forever & Always, explaining its switches from “you” to “he” to “I” to “we” as Taylor witnessing her Lover BFF's breakup. They revel in the fact that they manifested This Love (Taylor’s Version) and end the episode with their first reactions to the ethereal rerecording.
