No elected or appointed government official should receive any form of compensation other than their taxpayer provided salary. Any campaign donation should come with no strings attached and both parties should be aware of that. Elected officials should be barred from owning stock. Elected officials should not be allowed to sit on boards of companies while in office. No elected or appointed government official should own a business in Washington D.C. unless it is a hotdog stand. If a United States citizen owns a non-U.S. bank account it can be assumed they are dodging their tax burden or engaging in other malfeasance. Mitch will set up a hotline for reporting U.S. citizens with foreign bank accounts and gear the IRS toward investigating these types of individuals if elected President.
