Michael Christoff is an architect and a co-founder of PechaKucha Night Cleveland. He has a deep appreciation for urban environments and how people interact with them. Over the past 15 years, his focus has been on complex projects that require strategic physical, social, and cultural interventions. When he's not working at architecture and strategy firm Vocon, he stays involved in the local creative community, volunteering or leading initiatives to leverage Cleveland's creative efforts into visible and tangible change. Over the past 15 years, he's been fortunate to serve on the board and volunteer for some amazing organizations: SPACES Art Gallery, ACE Cleveland, Cleveland Design Competition, CMSD's Campus International School, and the American Institute of Architects Cleveland Chapter. Michael lives in Shaker Heights, OH, USA, with his wife, Jill, and two sons, Milan and Ari.

About PechaKucha
Three Quotes From This Episode That I Love!
- "The way it's framed is that you have to show 20 images, and every image is timed to 20 seconds. You basically have six minutes and 40 seconds to give a presentation on any topic that you like. And after doing this for 15 years, I can tell you that I've seen some of the most powerful presentations I've ever seen in my life in six minutes."
- "It comes down to this: how simple can you make your message?"
- "Everyone is on an equal playing field... we've had the CEO of the Cleveland Metropolitan School District (CMSD) speak, and the next presenter was a 14-year-old graffiti artist. And both of them have the same amount of time and the same amount of control over that six minutes and 40 seconds. So it's a really interesting context to see presentations."
