Of course, we'll talk about the ongoing Michigan high school football playoffs, early thoughts on the upcoming basketball season, and how high school sports have changed over the years. We'll also cover Mick's decades with the Freep and his thoughts on the future of newspapers and journalism. After we talk with Mick McCabe, The Knee Jerks will talk about the latest news in Detroit sports, including the Lions (a heartbreaking loss to the Jets, Jim Schwartz's ill-advised play call on the final drive and the status of the officially injury prone Matthew Stafford, thew Wolverines (the insane 67-65 3 OT win over the Illini, becoming bowl eligible and ask if you can say GERG's defense is really improving after giving up 65 points), the Pistons (Rodney Stuckey's battle of wills with John Kuester, then being benched for insubordination, and the Tigers (Jhonny Peralta is officially under contract for 2 seasons, and the start of free agency).
