On today's episode: Let’s make this as easy as possible: nostalgia and retro are everywhere! From the rise of the Pop Vinyls covering each category known to entertainment, to T-Shirts sporting logos and designs from a bygone era, and even some forms of entertainment from our childhoods being made available for us to relive the days of yore. This happens to include video games, of course! A portable version of Oregon Trail that lets you get dysentery on the go, Atari and Intellivision making new consoles, and Nintendo going against Sega and Sony to deliver a mini version of their hit 90’s consoles to your living room. That’s a small taste of it, but you get the picture. Our need for retro content has become a pretty sizeable part of the video game industry, and of course there’s a lot to dissect about it. So let’s hop right in and talk about this week’s topic: Retro in the Now-O!
