una cosa.
Tú sabes cómo es esto:
si miro
la luna de cristal, la rama roja
del lento otoño en mi ventana,
si toco
junto al fuego
la impalpable ceniza
o el arrugado cuerpo de la leña,
todo me lleva a ti,
como si todo lo que existe,
aromas, luz, metales,
fueran pequeños barcos que navegan
hacia las islas tuyas que me aguardan.
Ahora bien,
si poco a poco dejas de quererme
dejaré de quererte poco a poco.
Si de pronto
me olvidas
no me busques,
que ya te habré olvidado.
Si consideras largo y loco
el viento de banderas
que pasa por mi vida
y te decides
a dejarme a la orilla
del corazón en que tengo raíces,
piensa
que en ese día,
a esa hora

sientes que a mí estás destinada

作者介绍
聂鲁达自幼才华出众，13岁开始写作，1924年便发表了成名作《二十首情诗和一首绝望的歌》，字里行间写尽爱情的折磨。他也是一位左翼政治家，一位共产党员。1945年，聂鲁达当选国会议员，然而第二年，共产党被智利判定为非法组织，大批共产党员入狱。1949年，聂鲁达离开智利，开始了他的流亡生活，辗转苏联、中国、意大利等国。1952年，智利政府撤销了对他的通缉令，人民盛情欢迎诗人的归来。此后，聂鲁达过了几年安稳的日子，可谁曾想，死神的脚步竟也悄悄降临。
聂鲁达晚年身患前列腺癌，1972年，他辞去了法国大使的职务，回到了他太平洋岸边的住所——黑岛。诗人喜欢大海，当年他来到中国，听说自己的的名字中的“聂”是由三个“耳”字组成的时候（聶）说：“我有三只耳朵，第三只耳朵专门用来倾听大海的声音。”（摘自新京报书评周刊）
