=About Bo Begole=
Bo is the author of Ubiquitous Computing for Business (published in 2011), a prophetic guide highlighting how to successfully incorporate sophisticated user experiences into products, services, and apps. He is an inventor of machine learning, streaming media, and virtual/augmented reality technologies and applications. He has spent his career building cross-disciplinary teams who deliver technologies that open up new business opportunities.
Bo has spent much of his career leading corporate strategy for and R&D of AR/VR technologies, digital twins, computer vision, machine learning, recommender systems, quantum computing, and many others. Having more than 39 issued patents (with dozens more pending), he has authored more than 50 peer-reviewed papers and dozens of press articles in Forbes, Huffington Post, Economist, and other leading publications. As an ACM Distinguished Scientist, Bo has pioneered research in human computer interaction (HCI) and machine learning to predict human behavior for context-aware computing. He is a member of several advisory boards, including Virginia Tech Computer Science and Georgia Tech Computer Science, and the Chair for Industry Advisory Board for Quantum Science Center at Oakridge National Lab.
Bo enjoys spending time woodworking, Arabic calligraphy, science fiction, cooking, traveling, and spending time with his family in Northern California.
