But Caleb quieted the people before Moses and said, “Let us go up at once and occupy it, for we are well able to overcome it.” That's a positive example of mingling our faith with the prophetic word of the Lord. The Lord promised he will give the Israelites the good land and Caleb mingled his faith with God's promise. And he viewed the giants as his food but the Israelites, because they don't have faith, they view them as giants, they view themselves as grasshoppers.
