普遍來說，英國公婆的確比較好相處，因為界線感明確，話語權平等，甚至連醫療保險都影響著姻親關係。可是相對地，他們不會幫忙帶孩子，也不會幫你買房買車！來聽聽和英國公婆怎麼相處？都吵些什麼？
本播使用到的英文：
She's a drama queen：形容總是反應過度，把小事化大，很戲劇化的人。男女都適用。
Need time to process：需要時間消化（資訊、事件、情緒等）。
Partner：在這裡指的是交往同居多年，但一直沒有結婚的伴侶。同性戀或異性戀的伴侶皆適用。
empathise：同理心，能感同身受。
compensation：這裡指的是「過度補償」的心理。
「Keep at arm's length」：在之間維持一隻手臂的長度，指刻意與某人保持距離。
「Rub people up the wrong way」：指一個人沒有特意說或做什麼卻總能讓別人不爽。
關於姻親的英文笑話一則，問：「What's the difference between outlaws and in-laws？」
（姻親關係的成員的英文都叫做 in-laws，但通常指公婆。如：father-in-law 和 mother-in-law。）
