Today our host Bethany sits down with guest, Carol Enns, for the final episode of Season 9: Fulfilled. Together they bring to light yet another Old Testament prophecy fulfilled by the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. Carol shares about the covenant God made with Abraham, promising to make him a father to many nations. Listen along to hear how God, in the work of blessing all of the nations of the world through His Son, also blesses each one of us and calls us to join Him in this work.
It is our prayer that Season 9 of the DWITW Podcast has encouraged you to see God at work in the big story of the Bible. May God give you peace and assurance from this series of examples of our good Father keeping His promises.
Carol wants to live in a world where Jesus' name is honored and communities are transformed by His love. When she's not teaching little ones in the school gym at St. Anthony’s, she's out for a run or bike ride in Oakwood with a neighbor or her husband Harv. Her favorite Scripture is Philippians 2: 8-11: “Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. For this reason also, God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”
On this episode, Carol shares about Perspectives on the World Christian Movement. The next local Perspectives course will be offered this winter at Fairhaven Church on Tuesday evenings, 6:30-9:15, beginning January 12, 2021. A morning class will also be offered during this season at Patterson Park Church. Visitors are welcome to attend the first two classes.
