Alyssa Phillips is the owner of Amp’d Designs, transforming businesses through branding and web design crafted with intention, strategy, and style. She also helps self-employed designers navigate their journeys to building sustainable and fulfilling design businesses.
Alyssa received a BFA in Communications Design from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY, and held several positions at design studios in NYC, including roles at Atlantic Records and as an Art Director at a print agency, before moving to the mountains in Asheville, NC, to start her own business. Currently, she is the President of the AIGA Asheville chapter.
So many folks think branding is just about their logo. It’s so much more. Their logo is only part of it. It includes the branded message on their website and on social media. That means their written copy must convey their message clearly. It’s also the colors they use across their platforms. And it’s more. Alyssa and Hank discuss the elements and advantages of quality branding.
