前段时间我读完了一本关于世界历史的书《大人物的世界史》。这本书本身一般，所以这期节目除了分享一些关于这本书的知识与感受之外，更多是作为案例，分享一下我在读完一本书后，如何进行简单的调研。 《大人物的世界史》，作者西蒙·蒙蒂菲奥里(Simon Sebag Montefiore)，我感触比较深的一点是关于人类的上限和下限。一方面，书中记录的一百多个历史人物的故事中，有一些的确是突破了人类想象力那种虐待同类的极限，除了希姆莱，希特勒这些我们熟悉的恶人，也包括斯多克公爵（吸血鬼传说的原型，喜欢用木棍把人活活穿死。其他的事件我就不细说了，会引起人不适）等等更残忍等极端的中世纪黑暗时代的暴行。另外一方面，也看到了特别在那种黑暗年代中人性的美好，比如犹太姑娘安妮在纳粹逮捕送往集中营之前写的安妮日记，让也有…

每年年底总结回顾一下自己这一年读过的书，是我的个人传统。2022年和以往一样，非虚构类阅读占了大头，虚构类的以科幻为主。这里各选出5本虚构和非虚构，再加上3本视觉类的书籍，构成我这一年的阅读回顾。 我觉得这期节目里推荐的这十三本书可以代表我2022年的阅读：不一定是最新，在世界混乱时，退回到已经被认可的以往书籍中，可能是一种更好的策略。我刚刚阅读完马伯庸的2022年阅读书单，其中有一句话让我心有戚戚焉，他说：“每年出版的书汗牛充栋，中国看书的人又浩如烟海——怎么偏偏是我，怎么偏偏会看到这一本书。这其中的因缘起灭，和书本身一样重要。”不确定的年代，阅读的经历会更加珍贵。2023年，我们继续阅读，继续感受生活带来的各种不同的体验。 Support this podcast at — https:…

难以理解的书常常也是有价值的书，而且这种价值往往会随着时间的推移而更加显著。但书里的内容可能有时会让人根本读不下去，或是读不明白。读这样的书，该如何才能获得最大的收获呢？我有一些经验想分享给大家。 如何阅读一本艰深但有用的书？在这里，我总结了10条可以帮助你突破难关的方法： 不管你读了多少，先总结出自己收获到的内容，比如摘记，心得，画线，分享等。即使你只从书中获得了一句话，也许这句话就是书中最有价值的地方，至少是你收获的一个基本内容； 读完后一定要去写书的概要，用自己的语言描述书中的内容，比如《原则》，它是关于处理和判断生活中重要决策的一些指导性逻辑； 如果你还没有读完，可以先查看目录，了解书中哪些部分是你最想突破的； 上网查看书的官方网站，了解书中概要性的内容、selling point，…
