27th Sep 2019 – This week Dan and Will have a little book review of the new NHL game. Good and bad points. Then we bounce around the world with one national game in history. Not hockey news which leads to a laughing fit over Chernobyl 2 if it was bull semen. Close but not quite with some Jets and a great guy. Then onto the news. We have to discuss the Matthews situation and the ramifications around that including why we are both very annoyed about the coverage it has received. We are also dumbfounded that he chose to keep it secret from the team and everyone else. For some reason players are trying to murder each other during preseason. Moving on to other stuff we discuss the Byfuglien news coming out of Winnipeg and the Laine news coming out of Winnipeg via Finland. Then onto Mitch Marner re setting the market for all the RFAs with his blockbuster deal. Then onto the other RFAs who didn’t take a hometown discount. JK of course they did. Why did Charlie McAvoy take so little. Are the Jacobs making a cult? Should I be even typing that? Brayden Point is terrifying and isn’t being paid that way. Tkachuks deal is better than Marners right? Thomas Chabot signs to distract from Eugene Melnyk having to pay debts with a casino and a jet company. You can tell hockey is back as the Sens are back.
