What is a Verb ? Kinds of Verbs
A Verb is a word for a doing or a happening in other words a verb is a word indicating an action, a state, or an occurance.
DOINGS - come, cry, do, eat, fly, fry, go, help, play, push, speak, teach, work, write......etc.
HAPPENINGS - arise, bloom, blow, crack, flow, rain, set, shine, twinkle, thunder.....etc
01. Ordinary Verbs - go, speak, play, help,eat, work, run, be, have, do .....etc
02.Auxiliary Verbs / Helping Verbs - be ( am,is,are,was,were ....etc ) / do (do,does,did.....etc ) / have ( has,have,had .......etc.)
03. Modal Verbs - can , could, may , might, shall, should , will, would, must , ought to ....etc.
Transitive - eat, go, help , speak , teach , bite , give ....etc
Intransitive - sleep, come, go ....etc
Transitive & Intransitive - sink , fly, burn .....etc
Regular - play , cry , help , try , decide, promise , appear , mix, kiss, love ....etc.
Irregular - cut, shut , give , see , go , teach , have , sell , speak ....etc
Regular & Irregular - learn , burn , smell , spoil , dream , gild ....etc
