Police was called by neighbours who were concerned about the safety of Miss Symonds who could be heard saying "Get Off Me"

Boris Johnson who was not arrested has applied for an injunction to stop the recording of the altercation being released into the public domain. Making us think he may have something to hide. Once in public office should be open to public scrutiny. Well thats the debate thats happening up and down the country whilst he runs for the position of UK Prime Minister set to succeed outgoing Prime Minister Theresa May.

One things for sure it has opened a very public debate on how Domestic Abuse is seen and dealt with in the UK. How its reported, social attitudes, victims and perpretrators what is the protocol for both parties when a Domestic Abuse call is placed ? Also what is Domestic Abuse?

Why don't victims leave what are some of the barriers to victims not leaving their situation. What support is available for both victim/perpetrator ?
