This week we chat with Noelle Scaggs, the co-lead singer of Fitz and the Tantrums and the founder of Diversify The Stage. Noelle tells us many stories about the start of her career in the music industry, including days when she was in studio with will.i.am (which lead to her contributing vocals to a Black Eyed Peas track), to her joining Fitz and the Tantrums after having had a two year break from music. We also discuss Diversify the Stage, which was founded by Noelle with a focus on transforming the concert, events, and touring industries to increase diverse representation and create pathways to equitable opportunities for BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and Female and Gender Non-Conforming individuals.
