His career began to grow with Eye of the Needle in 1978. Later, The Pillars of the Earth in 1989 made him an international star. This book became a modern classic. Follett has written over 30 books and sold more than 160 million copies worldwide. His stories cover different genres, from thrillers to historical fiction.
