2nd season Maine Moose Hunt results.
When leaves come down it is time to scout.
Most leaves come down in the mountains sooner than anywhere.
Scout a little later because leaves cover up sign.
You should wait to scout till bucks move into fall range in October.
Last week of October generally signposts start to get hit.
Daylight controls everything.
Been seeing lot of fawns which is good sign deer herd is healthy.
Lots of people look in the wrong areas for signpost. Hal steers you in the right direction.
Bedding and feeding areas in the big woods? Do they exist?
Your favorite buck spot might not be good this year. Why? What to do?
Sitting in hardwoods where you can see the farthest is probably not best place. Why?
Spend 90% of your time in the 10%. How do you find 10% area?
