“It’s been awhile...” since we’ve chatted with the king of the “Monster Kids,” Derek M. Koch!
You may already know Derek from his fantastic podcast “Monster Kid Radio.” The show devoted to the classics and sometimes not so classic monster movies of yesteryear. Not just obsessed with creatures of celluloid, Derek is also a burgeoning writer. In his previous appearance, the time before the Revenge tour, we reviewed his debut book; “The Marc Temple Casefiles: Volume 1.” Now he’s back! And with a brand new book that will drop in a limited-release at this week’s Portland Fan Expo!
“On the Back Burner” is the first volume in the 6-Week Superhero series, set in a all-original superhero universe. Literally years in the making, we can’t wait to get our hands on this first printing!
