🇵🇸 Andrew Gowers was both Foreign Editor and Middle East Editor of the Financial Times @FinancialTimes, travelling regularly in the region between 1987 to 1990.
🇵🇸 A graduate of Cambridge University @cambridgeuniversity, he was a correspondent for Reuters news agency in Brussels and Zurich before joining the Financial Times' foreign staff in 1983.
🇵🇸 He comments frequently on Middle Eastern affairs for British radio and television as well as the BBC World Service (@BBC @BBCNews @BBCHindi @bbcearth @bbcnewsarabic @bbcradio1 @BBCBangla @BBCMundo @BBCStudios).
🇵🇸 Andrew is now retired and lives with his family in Lisbon, Portugal.
