Hour 1 Lots going on with the local teams but we started with the Mets win over the Dodgers to tie the series 1-1. Gio said the Mets are walking way too many guys. Vientos said he took it personally when they internationally walked Lindor to get to him with the bases loaded. There are a few Mets who are trying too hard at the plate. That’s Francisco Alvarez and Jose Iglesias. The Yankees beat the Guardians in game 1 and Carlos Rodon pitched great. You got homers from Juan Soto and Giancarlo Stanton and Weaver shut it down in the pen. Pete Alonso had a great slide into home and a great stretch at first on the huge double play. Jerry is here with his first update of the day and starts with the sounds of the Jets losing to the Bills, 23-20. There were way too many penalties in this game. Rodgers' interception late was a key part of the loss. Jerry has the sounds of John Sterling as Juan Soto homered. We heard from Howie Rose as Mark Vientos hit a grand slam. In the final segment of the hour, Gio said he is irrationally hating Shohei Ohtani. Gio remembers Mike and the Mad Dog loving ratings talk as to who had more viewers yesterday, the Mets, Yankees or Jets. Hour 2 The Jets lost to the Bills last night but the offense did look better. Breece Hall had his best game of the season. But the penalties and mistakes are still there. The interceptions at the end of games are still there. Rodgers is definitely going to miss games this season because of an injury because he is getting hit a lot. They also have a second half issue on offense. If not for a miracle hail mary to close the first half, this game isn’t even close. There were a ton of penalties in the game and they had to go back to New York to see what they saw. Jerry returns for an update and starts with the sounds of the Jets missing 2 FGs. Aaron Rodgers talked about the interception and he seems to be blaming Mike Williams. Carlos Rodon had himself a nice night going 6 innings of 3 hit ball with 9 K’s. Jerry has the sounds of Howie Rose as Francisco Lindor led off the game with a HR. In the final segment of the hour, this Sunday night’s Jets game against the Steelers is going to tell us a lot about the future of the Jets. Boomer said the Jets have lost 3 games by a total of 10 points. They are in every game, unlike the Dallas Cowboys who have been blown out. Hour 3 Boomer said Aaron Rodgers’ arm is still strong and he can still make great throws. Rodgers is taking a ton of his with the Jets. No matter how you slice it, the Jets are 2-4, so Gio doesn’t care if they’re in every game and all the games are close. The season is not over, but they have a lot to fix. A caller is looking forward to the Jets season 14 years from now when Jordan Love is the QB. Jerry returns for an update and starts with Howie Rose as Starling Marte singled in Pete Alonso for a little insurance. The Yankees beat the Guardians thanks in part to a HR by Giancarlo Stanton. We heard Kevin Harlan on the call as Aaron Rodgers threw an interception late that sealed the game for the Bills. In the postgame press conference, Rodgers was basically blaming Mike Williams for the interception. Bill Belichick was on the Manningcast and backed Rob Saleh while also saying he doesn’t like the Jets (except for Fireman Ed). He clearly does not like Woody Johnson. Robert Kraft talked about the day Brady left to go to Tampa. He said it was like ‘losing a child’ and that Brady cried the whole time. In the final segment of the hour, Gio talked about the ‘For You’ section of X and what it’s giving him. There’s a pic going around of Diddy, J-Lo and Jay-Z that is probably fake. Hour 4 We talked about the Mets tying the series 1-1. C-Mac said the only way the Mets season is ruined, is if the Yankees beat the Mets in the World Series. Gio disagrees with this.
