Last Sunday, many of us gathered at the beach after church to celebrate the baptism of 58 people as they publicly proclaimed their faith in Jesus! It was a beautiful day filled with cheering, tears of joy, and laughter. With over 100 people there to celebrate with us, it was truly a community event. "Community" is a word we use a lot at church—mostly because it's something we all need and desire. In fact, it's one of the main reasons we come to church in the first place: to find "our people." People we can walk with, grow with, count on, and serve. In this sermon, learn how to find "your people" and listen to the stories of those who have found community in CCC Small Groups.
