When you think of majestic wildlife in Newfoundland and Labrador, moose and caribou are probably the top of the list. New research suggests they also play a key role in lessening the effects of climate change. Moose and caribou affect how carbon is absorbed, stored and released in the forests of Newfoundland and Labrador. Kristy Ferraro is a researcher at Memorial University and she spoke with the CBC's Martin Jones .
