The hugely successful agency, Smyle, has been recognised as the fastest growing leading agency in the UK Events industry through its entry in The Sunday Times Virgin Atlantic Fast Track 100 in December 2018 and The Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200 in February 2019.
This is why we were delighted when Smyle contacted us back in Aug 2020 to talk about Diversity & Inclusion. They knew they could do better and be better when it came to DEI... They are an agency that stands against social injustices and are committed to showing up, taking responsibility and playing their part, which they have demonstrated again and again. When we began working with them they shared their audacious vision - "to be the most diverse and inclusive agency in events."
In this weeks episode Rick Stainton, Founder & Group Executive Director of Smyle Group and founder of One Industry One Voice, talks with Ashanti about the work Smyle undertook with Diversity Ally and WHY they recognised this work was vital. We also touch on the vision for OIOV, and why unifying the industry was and is the key to showing society the power of events and attracting new diverse talent to our wonderful sector.
Smyle engaged Diversity Ally for support and guidance and underwent a full audit, workshops and came away with a roadmap and some tangible goals for the next 12 months.
