新加坡的外交策略是否真的是在一根平衡木上表演？

新加坡国家发展部兼外交部高级政务部长沈颖强调，新加坡与中美关系良好，因新加坡与中国的国家利益、新加坡与美国的国家利益很大程度上是吻合的，但当外部条件变化时，也必须要做出一些相应的调整。

她表示，新加坡虽小，但在海洋法、知识产权和网络安全等国际事务中发挥着协调作用，努力成为一个值得信赖的国际伙伴。

沈颖借用梁文福的歌词“我们都曾一无所有过，现在拥有的不算什么，但是比别人珍惜得多”，来表明这是新加坡外交方针的写照。
